Srinagar/Jammu, May 31, 2024 – The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (J&K BOPEE) has released the provisional merit list for admission to B.Pharm and D.Pharm courses for the academic year 2024. This follows the Common Entrance Test (CET) held on May 19, 2024, across examination centers in Srinagar and Jammu.
The merit list, detailed in Notification No: 026-BOPEE of 2024, includes the results of all candidates who participated in the CET. The examination was conducted in accordance with Notification No. 015-BOPEE of 2024 dated March 29, 2024, and subsequent notices. Key Points from the Notification:
- No Objections Received: The Board confirmed that no representations were made against the CET answer key, which was published on May 19, 2024. As a result, the results were prepared based on the original key.
- Resolution of Tie Scores: For candidates who scored identical marks, tie-breaking procedures outlined on Page 39, Point 12 of the e-Information Brochure were applied.
- Objection and Retotaling Procedure: Candidates with objections to their results can submit a written representation, along with a payment receipt of Rs.1000, for retotaling of marks. This must be done within three days of the notification’s upload. No objections will be entertained after this period.
- Submission of Pending Documents: Candidates with pending documentation, such as marks cards, reserved category certificates, or domicile certificates, were allowed to take the CET provisionally. They must submit the required documents by the counseling date or at the time of admission.
- Correction of Personal Details: Candidates needing corrections in their personal details (name, parentage, date of birth, category certificate, stream preference, or gender) must visit BOPEE offices in Jammu or Srinagar within seven days of this notification.
- Category Updates: Following the issuance of S.O. 176 on March 15, 2024, by the Social Welfare Department of J&K, candidates wishing to update their category as per the new reservation policy must submit their new category certificates within seven days. Failure to do so will forfeit their claim to seats under the old categories.
