Admission to B.E./B.Tech. Courses in J&K and Ladakh: Schedule for Ist Round of Counselling
The Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE) has announced the schedule for the Ist Round of Physical Counselling for admission to B.E./B.Tech. courses in various Government and Private Institutions of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. The counselling is scheduled to take place from June 30th to July 2nd, 2024.
Important Dates and Details
- Schedule for Ist Round of Counselling:
- Sunday, June 30th, 2024: 001-500
- Monday, July 1st, 2024: 501-1100
- Tuesday, July 2nd, 2024: 1101-1662
- Documents Required:
- Original documents to be brought on the day of counselling:
- 12th Class Marks Card
- Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K/Ladakh
- Category Certificate, including TFW, if any
- Date of Birth Certificate (Issued by J&K Board of School Education / Centre Board/other Boards)
- Original documents to be brought on the day of counselling:
- Counselling Fee:
- Rs. 1000/- to be deposited through POS machine available at BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar through Debit/Credit cards
- Important Instructions:
- Candidates must report at the BOPEE offices Jammu/Srinagar physically for registration/attendance & fulfillment of other formalities between 08:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m on the day/date of their counselling.
- A candidate who fails to participate in their counselling on a particular day shall be allowed to participate in the counselling process on the next day, provided they do not stake any claim on a seat which was available on their date of counselling but has already been allotted to a candidate figuring next in the order of merit list.
- Candidates who fail to join in the allotted college after completion of the counselling shall not be eligible to participate in subsequent rounds of counselling i.e. upgradation rounds.
Additional Information
- Seat Matrix will be uploaded separately in due course of time before the date of Counselling.
- Candidates are advised to remain in constant touch with the official website of the Board (www.jkbopee.gov.in) for any updates about the Counselling Process and the daily based Seat Matrix.
- In case a candidate is unable to attend counselling physically owing to a specific valid reason, they can authorize a person (through Authority Letter-on prescribed format available at the BOPEE office Srinagar/Jammu) from their family member(s) to participate in the counselling process on their behalf at the BOPEE offices Jammu/Srinagar on the day/date of counselling as per their Rank with valid ID Proof.
