The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has announced that all eligible candidates of the Secondary School Examination (Class 10) Annual (Regular) Session 2024 can now apply for obtaining Photostat copies of their answer scripts and/or for the re-evaluation of their answer scripts. This process is crucial for students who seek clarity on their results or believe there may have been an error in the evaluation of their examination papers.
To facilitate this, JKBOSE has provided an online application process which can be accessed on their official website: www.jkbose.nic.in. Below are the detailed instructions and schedule for the application process:
Important Dates
- Opening Date for Online Application: June 21, 2024
- Last Date to Apply for Photostat Copy: July 5, 2024
- Last Date to Apply for Re-evaluation: July 12, 2024
Application Instructions
- Visit the JKBOSE Official Website: Navigate to www.jkbose.nic.in to start your application.
- Fee Details:
- Re-evaluation Fee: ₹520 per answer script
- Photostat Copy Fee: ₹270 per answer script
- Payment Methods: Fees can be paid through online modes such as Credit/Debit Cards, UPI, Net Banking, etc.
Collection of Photostat Copies
- After applying, a notice for the collection of Photostat copies will be uploaded on the JKBOSE website.
- Students must collect their Photostat copies strictly according to the uploaded schedule from the concerned Secrecy sections at JKBOSE Head Office locations:
- JKBOSE New Campus, Bemina, Srinagar
- Rehari Colony, Jammu-Tawi
- Students are required to produce proof of the fee deposited when collecting their Photostat copies.
- No student should visit the JKBOSE office without following the collection schedule.

- Ineligibility: Candidates with disqualifications or cancelled exams/papers are not eligible to apply for Photostat copies or re-evaluation for the respective subjects.
