JKSET Eligibility Criteria 2024
Academic Qualifications
- General Candidates: Must have secured at least 55% marks in their Master’s Degree or equivalent from universities recognized by the UGC.
- Reserved Categories (SC/ST/PwD): Must have secured at least 50% marks.
- Ph.D. Holders: Those who completed their Master’s by September 19, 1991, are eligible for a relaxation of 5%.
Additional Notes
- Candidates appearing for their Master’s final year exams can also apply provisionally.
- The subject for the JKSET must be the same as the candidate’s post-graduation subject.
- Foreign degree holders should get their degrees evaluated for equivalence by the Association of Indian Universities.
