Hazratbal, Srinagar, June 21, 2024 — The University of Kashmir, a prestigious institution accredited with an ‘A+’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), held a significant event yesterday at the Convocation Complex. The “Live Youth Interaction Session,” addressed by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, attracted considerable attention and participation from the academic community.
The session, which took place from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on June 20, 2024, was a landmark event designed to engage young minds and inspire the university’s faculty and students. In a circular issued by Prof. Naseer Iqbal, Registrar of the University, all Heads, Coordinators, and Directors of Departments and Centers, both at the Main Campus and Zakura Campus, were instructed to ensure the attendance of all Assistant Professors and Contractual Lecturers at the event. Furthermore, it was mandated that all Officers of the rank of Section Officer also be present.
The session began promptly at 4:00 PM, as emphasized in the circular, and saw the Prime Minister addressing a packed auditorium. His speech focused on the role of youth in shaping the future of the nation, emphasizing innovation, leadership, and the importance of education in driving societal progress.
